The Eight Treasures™ QiGong
The Eight Treasures™ QiGong, was formally organized over 2000 years ago, transmitted by the Ni family through an unbroken succession of 39 generations of Taoist masters. These gentle, non-impact exercises facilitate energy flow and strengthen vitality through a combination of stretching, toning and strengthening movements based on the natural motion of the planets and stars as well as on the simplicity and power of animals and Mother Nature. QiGong practice activates and guides the smooth flow of energy through the body by use of the breath, simple movement, posture and mental imagery. Related to, but older than Tai Chi, QiGong is generally simpler to learn because the movement sequences are shorter and more repetitious than those of Tai Chi.
