Essentrics® by Miranda Esmonde-White, a full-body technique working through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles and relieving them from tension in the process. Simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles, Her completely original workout draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physical therapy which create a pain free body.

The Eight Treasures™ QiGong

The Eight Treasures™ QiGong, was formally organized over 2000 years ago, transmitted by the Ni family through an unbroken succession of 39 generations of Taoist masters. These gentle, non-impact exercises facilitate energy flow and strengthen vitality through a combination of stretching, toning and strengthening movements based on the natural motion of the planets and stars as well as on the simplicity and power of animals and Mother Nature. QiGong practice activates and guides the smooth flow of energy through the body by use of the breath, simple movement, posture and mental imagery. Related to, but older than Tai Chi, QiGong is generally simpler to learn because the movement sequences are shorter and more repetitious than those of Tai Chi.

Tai Chi for Arthritis

Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA) program was developed for people with arthritis and elderly people with balance problems by Dr. Paul Lam, a family practice doctor and Tai Chi Master in Sydney, Australia, together with a team of rheumatologists and physical therapists. Tai Chi for Arthritis has been officially adapted as the tai chi form used by all arthritis foundations in Australia, UK and the Arthritis Foundation of America. It improves flexibility, muscular strength and fitness. Studies have shown the program relieves pain and improves physical function, improves balance and reduces the risk of falling, decreases stress and pain in joints, helps reduce high blood pressure, and increases sense of well-being.

Yoga Fusion

Yoga Fusion – Although trained in Vinyasa yoga, Suuz uses her knowledge of other movement practices to create a unique mix of stretch and flow. It improves flexibility, muscular strength and fitness. Studies have shown the program relieves pain and improves physical function, improves balance and reduces the risk of falling, decreases stress and pain in joints, helps reduce high blood pressure, and increases sense of well-being.
